First Day of Retirement!

Actually, I know that December 31st was my last day, but yesterday didn't count as a retirement day because it was a holiday. I enjoyed watching the football games and while I had been rooting for Stanford, I wasn't disappointed with Michigan State won the game. They certainly played with a lot of heart. Lisa is off to Bikram Yoga this morning. I've had a bit of breakfast and now I've also had my shower. I'm going to finish this and then go to Foster to see what kind of bargains Marty has for shoes that are waterproof. Yes, we do live in Seattle here in the far North, but we do play golf year round. You just want protection from the water on the courses. We are going to La Rustica http://www.larusticarestaurant.com/ this evening for our celebration dinner for retirement. We haven't been there for the longest time. I'm sure they won't remember us, but a few years ago we were there fairly frequently and they did know us. I think it is going to be very interesting to explore retirement. I just don't know yet how this will all work out.
